Infrastructure and Projects Authority , interim chief executive
Matthew Vickerstaff is Deputy Chief Executive of the Infrastructure & Projects Authority (IPA). The IPA reports to the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury and is responsible for the £450bn Government's major Projects Portfolio as well as the Project delivery function. Matthew has over 20 years infrastructure financing and investment banking experience and has management responsibility for the £40bn UK Guarantee Scheme. Having spent time working in investment banking in New York, Paris, Toronto and London he brings a global perspective, especially as early in his career he spent time in Melbourne working for an environmental consultant.
