Government Property Agency , deputy director for construction and property
Kevin joined the Cabinet Office from the Ministry of Justice in 2015 and is now Construction Director at the Government Property Agency. Other Cabinet Office roles included Construction Director at Crown Commercial Service for whom he designed the new £30bn construction frameworks that are due for award this autumn. The majority of his career has been in the private sector since he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. He has supplemented his extensive property and construction experience by gaining a Masters in Construction Law. Most of his work has been in the UK providing services to public and private sector organisations including RBS/NWB, General Electric, Scottish Power, Royal Mail, HM Prison Service and De Beers. However, he has undertaken overseas assignments in Jamaica, South Africa, Algeria, Czech Republic and Poland. Kevin currently chairs the Government FM Board, chairs the Collaborative Procurement Working Group and is a member of the Government Construction Board.
