Network Rail , head of HR – IP track
A client focused HR Professional with more than 20 years’ experience across retail, corporate & wholesale banking currently enjoying a second career with Network rail. As Head of HR for Infrastructure Projects – Track, Network Rail’s national programme responsible for renewal and enhancement works across the UK’s 20 000 miles of railway, Keith leads the people agenda across a direct workforce, contractor and alliance principal contractors.
Working with matrix business models, Keith has successfully delivered many major business change programme's including offshoring; rightsizing; insourcing as well as leading the Corporate Social Responsibility agenda and championing employee health and wellbeing. Along with his team, the latter was recently recognised nationally by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as winner of the 2018 Best Skills Based Volunteering Programme award.
He practices what he preaches by living the maxim “Mens sana in corpore sano - a healthy mind in a healthy body" and can often be seen wearing lycra and undertaking triathlons and climbing.
Keith is a Fellow of the CIPD with a share and grow mantra illustrated by his focus on employee development both formally via mentoring and live coaching combined with informal discussions to recognise, reward and grow current and future HR professionals.
