United Utilities , director of environment, planning and innovation
Jo Harrison is the Director of Environment, Planning and Innovation at United Utilities. She has over 20 years of experience working in the water industry and has worked for United Utilities since 1998.
In her current role she is accountable for leading the approach to environmental and long term planning for the next 25 years; including developing and strengthening the Company’s approach to all aspects of the environment, climate change and carbon, asset management, risk and resilience.
Jo has a BSc in Geography and Ecology from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Pollution and Environmental Control from Manchester University. She is a chartered member of the Institute of Water and Environmental Managers (CIWEM) and a Chartered Environmentalist. She is also a member of the North West Flood and Coastal Committee (RFCC), a trustee of the Community Forest Trust and a trustee of the Rivers Trust.
